Most girls start planning (or at least dreaming about) their wedding from a young age. They picture everything from the dress to the man, perfecting their vision a little at a time. Kristina is not one of those girls. But lately, things have changed. She’s not planning her own trip down the aisle, but over the summer she attended eight beautiful weddings and more invitations have started to pile up.

Now, she’s addicted to weddings and can’t help herself: she’s ripping out pictures of wedding gowns from the pages of magazines for her friends, offering color palette suggestions, and noticing things in the Twin Cities perfect for inspiration or preparation. Down the Aisle will bring tkTC readers weekly wedding tidbits to help plan your big day—or at least dream about it.

Why do you write? I’m a communicator. I write so I can share information, stories and all-around awesomeness with as many people as possible.

What do you want to do before you die? Travel to Italy, write a book and seriously change someone’s life.

When I was a kid I used to: tell my younger sister Oreos were poisonous. You know, just being the best big sister ever.

I have an unhealthy obsession with: magazines, freshly-picked raspberries, most everything playing (and being) at the Guthrie, music, sharpie pens, weddings that aren’t mine

Who would play you in a movie? A blonder version of Cobie Smulders from How I Met Your Mother.

How do you feel about morning people? I get coffee with them.

If I had a million dollars I would: move to Australia and start my own weddings magazine.

Favorite Breakfast Cereal: Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Don’t ever: spell your when you mean you’re (or vice versa)—it seriously pains me.

My favorite song to put on repeat is: anything by Joshua Radin.
